No. AmericaBeauty Los Angeles is an independent pageant and is not affiliated with Miss USA, Miss America or Miss Universe or with any of their state or local organizations. Candidates here pay no entry fee.
Can I enter Los Angeles if I live in Pasadena or Santa Monica?
Yes. Neighboring cities such as Pasadena, Santa Monica, Glendale, Burbank and Culver City can enter under Los Angeles. If you live farther away, such as in Orange County or the Inland Empire, choose Other city in California and you still compete in a city stage of your own.
I work in entertainment. Can I still enter?
Yes. Your job does not matter. Any woman who is 18 or older on the day of entry and lives in California can enter, and actresses, models, creators and women who have never stood in front of a camera compete on the same terms.
Is Los Angeles open to women over 30?
Yes. The AmericaBeauty Classic category is for women 30 and over, with no upper age limit, and it runs in Los Angeles next to the AmericaBeauty category for ages 18 to 29.
