Pageant Eligibility Requirements and Contest Rules

These are the rules of the 2026 to 2027 edition of AmericaBeauty. They apply in every city and state, at every stage.

Who is eligible

  • Women 18 or older on the day of entry. There is no upper age limit.
  • Your age on June 1, 2027 decides only your category, never whether you can enter.
  • Residents of the United States, entering in the state where they live.
  • Any marital status. Married women, divorced women and mothers are welcome.
  • One entry per person per edition, in one city and one state.
II

Age and identity check

Every candidate passes an ID and age check before her profile goes public. We compare the name and date of birth on a government ID document with the entry. Your ID stays private and is never shown on your profile. An entry that fails the check does not go public.

III

Photo rules

  • Up to 6 photos per profile, all of yourself and taken with your consent
  • Recent photos, without filters or edits that change your face or body
  • No nudity, no lingerie and no sexual content
  • No children in the photos, and no other people without their consent
  • No logos of other pageants or brands in a way that suggests sponsorship

Every photo is reviewed before it appears. We may decline a photo that breaks these rules.

IV

Profile and conduct

Your introduction is your own words. Do not post contact details of other people, offensive content or claims you cannot back up. Harassment of other candidates or voters leads to removal from the edition.

V

Voting rules

  • Each person can vote once per candidate per day.
  • Votes come from people, not scripts. Votes that look automated, bought or duplicated are voided.
  • Candidates must not offer money or gifts for votes.
  • Results count valid votes only. Voided votes are removed before results are announced.

Stages and titles

The candidate with the most valid votes in each category of a city stage holds the title of AmericaBeauty of her city for the 2026 to 2027 edition and moves to the state stage. The winner of each category in a state stage holds the state title and moves to the national final, streamed online in June 2027. Dates are on the stage calendar.

VII

No fees

Candidates pay nothing at any stage. Nobody can charge you for entering, for votes or for moving to the next stage on AmericaBeauty.

VIII

An independent pageant

AmericaBeauty is an independent pageant and is not affiliated with Miss USA, Miss America or Miss Universe. Our titles are AmericaBeauty of a city and AmericaBeauty of a state.
