AmericaBeauty

Privacy Policy

Last updated October 19, 2026. This policy explains what personal information AmericaBeauty collects, why, who receives it and how you control it.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Your personal information is controlled by the administrator of the americabeauty.com service. Write to support@americabeauty.com with any question or request about your data.

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your e-mail address and your role (candidate, voter or sponsor).
  • Entry data: first name, date of birth, state, city, category and, if you add it, your Instagram or TikTok handle.
  • Verification data: the government ID document you submit for the age and identity check.
  • Profile content: your photos and the introduction you write.
  • Voting data: which candidates you voted for and when, to enforce one vote per day.
  • Sponsor data: business name, billing details, the city or state you sponsor and your sponsor materials.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, the page you came from and campaign tags in the link.

The photo you use in the entry card builder on our homepage stays in your browser and is not sent to us until you submit your entry.

3. Why we use it

  • To create your account and send you the 6-digit sign-in code.
  • To check that you are 18 or older and that you are who you say you are.
  • To publish approved candidate profiles and run fair public voting.
  • To run sponsorships, take payments and issue invoices.
  • To keep the service secure and to void automated or duplicated votes.
  • To send you messages about your entry, your votes or your sponsorship. We do not send advertising from other companies.

4. Your ID document

Your ID document is used only for the age and identity check. It is never shown on your profile and never shared with sponsors or voters. We delete the document image within 30 days after the check and keep only the result and the date.

5. Who receives your data

We do not sell or rent your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers that work for us under contract: a hosting provider, an e-mail delivery provider, a payment operator for sponsors and an identity verification provider. What is public: the first name, city, state, category, photos and introduction of an approved candidate, and her vote standing. Sponsors see totals of views, clicks and code redemptions, never the identity of voters.

6. How long we keep it

  • Candidate profiles stay online for the edition and its archive until you delete them.
  • Unconfirmed signups are deleted after 90 days.
  • Voting records are kept for 12 months after the edition ends.
  • Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

7. Cookies

We use only cookies that the site needs to work: a session cookie, a security token for forms and your sign-in. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, so there is no cookie banner. Visitor statistics are counted without cookies.

8. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, download or delete your personal information, and you can delete your profile and photos at any time. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws have these rights under their state law, including the right to know what we collect and the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Send requests to support@americabeauty.com from the e-mail address on your account. We answer within 30 days.

9. Adults only

AmericaBeauty is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a person under 18 opened an account, we delete it.

10. Security and changes

We protect your data with encrypted connections, restricted access and regular reviews. We announce material changes to this policy by e-mail before they apply.
