Pageants in the District of Columbia, a local title in the capital

The District of Columbia is compact and full of distinct neighborhoods, from Capitol Hill and Navy Yard to Georgetown, Dupont Circle, Adams Morgan, Columbia Heights, Anacostia and Brookland. Candidates from every ward compete for the same title, AmericaBeauty District of Columbia 2026.

Washington draws young women from all over the country to work in government, law, policy, media, nonprofits and international organizations, and to study at universities such as Georgetown, George Washington, Howard and American. Many are new to the city, and a local title is a way to represent the community they now call home.

Busy schedules are the norm in the District. Entry takes a few minutes from a phone, and the city and District stages happen online, so a candidate does not need to take time off work or travel anywhere to compete.
