Is this the Miss Chicago pageant?
No. AmericaBeauty Chicago is an independent pageant and is not affiliated with Miss USA, Miss America or Miss Universe or with any of their state or local organizations. Candidates here pay no entry fee.
Can I enter Chicago if I live in Evanston or Oak Park?
Yes. Women in suburbs next to the city, such as Evanston, Oak Park, Skokie or Cicero, can choose Chicago when they enter. If you live farther out, such as in Naperville or Joliet, choose Other city in Illinois and you still get a city stage of your own.
Can my family vote if they live outside Illinois?
Yes. Voting is online and open to supporters anywhere. Each person can vote once per day for each candidate, and suspicious votes are voided.
Is there a Chicago category for women over 30?
Yes. AmericaBeauty Classic is for women 30 and over and runs in Chicago alongside the AmericaBeauty category for ages 18 to 29. Married women and mothers are welcome in both.
