Kentucky stretches from the Appalachian hills in the east to the Mississippi River in the west, with Louisville and Lexington as its two largest cities. Entries come from Louisville neighborhoods along the Ohio River, from the horse farm country around Lexington, from Bowling Green and Owensboro, and from Northern Kentucky towns such as Covington that face Cincinnati across the river.
The state has a lively college scene, with the University of Kentucky in Lexington, the University of Louisville and Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green drawing students from every corner of the state. Each spring Louisville hosts the Kentucky Derby, a time when hats, dresses and personal style are part of everyday conversation, so stage presence feels familiar to many women here.
A drive from Pikeville to Paducah takes most of a day, and many Kentucky women live in small towns far from the big cities. - February 2027, City voting runs online in every Kentucky city with entries.
- March and April 2027, City titleholders compete online in the Kentucky state stage.
- June 2027, The AmericaBeauty Kentucky 2026 to 2027 titleholders go on to the national final, streamed online.
Each supporter can vote once per day for each candidate, and suspicious votes are voided, so the result reflects real people. The candidate with the most valid votes in her city stage, in each category, becomes the city titleholder and moves on to the Kentucky state stage, and the state titleholder moves on to the national final.
Who can enter in Kentucky
You can enter if you are a woman aged 18 or older on the day of entry and you live in Kentucky. There is no upper age limit, and married women and mothers are welcome. Do I have to travel to Frankfort to compete?
No. The city and state stages of AmericaBeauty Kentucky run online, and the national final is streamed online, so you can take part from any town in Kentucky without travel.
