A pageant for New England's capital city
Boston is the capital of Massachusetts and the largest city in New England, a place where colonial history and a modern skyline share the same harbor. The contest welcomes women from every neighborhood, from Back Bay, Beacon Hill and the South End to Jamaica Plain, Dorchester, Charlestown, East Boston and the Seaport.
Greater Boston is one of the great university regions of the world, with Harvard and MIT across the river in Cambridge and Boston University, Northeastern, Boston College and Emerson close by. Hospitals, biotech, finance and education employ much of the region, so the candidates this contest is made for range from graduate students and researchers to nurses, teachers, founders and mothers.
Many people here live in one town and work in another. Women from Cambridge, Somerville, Brookline, Quincy, Newton or Medford who think of Boston as their city can choose Boston in the entry form, and because voting is online, a long winter or a crowded commute never gets in the way.
Boston first, then Massachusetts, then the national final
Every Boston entry starts in the Boston city stage. The candidate with the most valid votes in each category becomes AmericaBeauty Boston 2026 to 2027 and advances to the Massachusetts beauty pageant, where she meets the titleholders of other city stages across the state. The AmericaBeauty Massachusetts 2026 to 2027 titleholder then competes in the national final, streamed online in June 2027.

Who can enter in Boston
You can enter the Boston contest if you live in Massachusetts and are at least 18 on the day of entry. No upper age limit applies, and married women and mothers are welcome. Women 18 to 29 compete in AmericaBeauty and women 30 and over in AmericaBeauty Classic, each with its own Boston title. The entry form takes your first name, date of birth, state, city, e-mail and one photo, and a 6-digit code by e-mail confirms your address.

Is this the Miss Boston pageant?
No. AmericaBeauty Boston is an independent pageant and is not affiliated with Miss USA, Miss America or Miss Universe or their state or local organizations. Candidates here pay no entry fee.
I study in Boston but my home state is different. Where do I enter?
Enter the state where you live. If you live in Massachusetts while you study, you can enter Boston. If your residence is in another state, enter that state.
I live in Cambridge or Somerville. Can I enter Boston?
Yes. Women from Greater Boston communities such as Cambridge, Somerville and Brookline can choose Boston as their city when they enter.
Do I need pageant experience?
No. Entry takes a few minutes, needs one photo and a confirmed e-mail address, and candidates never pay anything to take part.
