Pageants in Minnesota, from the lake towns to the state title
Minnesota calls itself the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and its towns spread from the farmland of the south to the forests and Boundary Waters of the north. Most entries come from Minneapolis and Saint Paul and their suburbs, with more from Rochester, Duluth on Lake Superior, St. Cloud, Mankato and Moorhead.
The Twin Cities are home to large retail, health and food companies, the University of Minnesota, and a strong arts and theater scene, while Rochester is known around the world for the Mayo Clinic. Shopping is a local tradition too, with the Mall of America in Bloomington, so style and presentation have a real audience here.
Minnesota winters are long and cold, and a drive from the Twin Cities to the Iron Range or the Red River valley takes hours. Because AmericaBeauty Minnesota runs online, you collect votes from home in February and in the spring, and your supporters vote with one tap from anywhere.
Minnesota cities and their city stages
Every Minnesota city with entries gets its own city stage. Choose "Other city in Minnesota" and enter Minneapolis, Saint Paul, Rochester, Duluth or Bloomington, and you compete for your own city title before the state stage.
