Pageants in Mississippi, from your town to the state title
Mississippi runs from the flat, fertile Delta along the Mississippi River to the beaches of the Gulf Coast. Entries come from the capital Jackson, from Gulfport and Biloxi on the coast, from Hattiesburg in the Pine Belt, from Southaven and the suburbs near Memphis, and from Tupelo, Oxford and Starkville in the north.
Pageants have a long tradition across the South, and in Mississippi stepping on a stage is part of school, church and town life for many women. College towns add to that energy, with the University of Mississippi in Oxford, Mississippi State in Starkville and Southern Miss in Hattiesburg, and the state's blues and music heritage gives local events their own style.
Much of Mississippi is rural, and many women live in small towns an hour or more from the nearest big city. AmericaBeauty Mississippi runs online, so there is no long drive to a ballroom and no entry fee, and supporters across the state vote from the same shared profile link.
Mississippi cities where you compete
Every Mississippi city with entries gets its own city stage. Choose "Other city in Mississippi" and enter Jackson, Gulfport, Biloxi, Hattiesburg or Tupelo, and you compete for your city title in each category before the state stage.
