Pageants in the Queen City

Charlotte is the largest city in North Carolina and one of the fastest growing cities in the South, which means many women here arrived from somewhere else and built a new life in the Piedmont. The contest is open to every neighborhood, from Uptown, South End and NoDa to Plaza Midwood, Dilworth, Myers Park and Ballantyne.

The city is one of the biggest banking centers in the country, and finance, energy, healthcare and motorsports employ a large share of the region. It studies at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Queens University of Charlotte and Johnson C. Smith University. Young professionals and students fill the main category, while AmericaBeauty Classic welcomes women 30 and over who have made Charlotte their home.

Greater Charlotte reaches into several counties. Women living in Matthews, Mint Hill, Huntersville, Cornelius, Concord or Mooresville can choose Charlotte as their city in the entry form. Women who live across the line in South Carolina enter the South Carolina contest, because residence decides the state.

From Charlotte to the North Carolina title

Your first round is the Charlotte city stage. The candidate with the most valid votes in each category becomes AmericaBeauty Charlotte 2026 to 2027 and advances to the North Carolina beauty pageant, competing with titleholders from Raleigh, Greensboro, Durham and other city stages in the state. The AmericaBeauty North Carolina 2026 to 2027 titleholder goes on to the national final, streamed online in June 2027.

You compete online, so there is no trip to Raleigh and no event fee. See the rules and eligibility and the categories.
