Pageants in Rhode Island, from your town to the Ocean State title
Rhode Island is the smallest state in the country, but it packs a lot into a short drive. Providence, the capital, is the center of the state, with Cranston, Pawtucket, East Providence and Woonsocket close around it. Warwick sits along the bay, Newport looks out to the Atlantic, and South County towns like Narragansett and Westerly fill up with beachgoers every summer.
The design scene is strong for a state this size. The Rhode Island School of Design and Brown University share Providence's College Hill, and the University of Rhode Island in Kingston brings students from all over New England. Newport's mansions and sailing culture, the restaurants of Federal Hill and the coastline of Narragansett Bay give women plenty of backdrops for their profile photos.
Distances are short here, but schedules are not. Many Rhode Islanders work long shifts or commute toward Boston, so online voting fits everyday life. Supporters vote once a day from your profile link, and every stage of AmericaBeauty Rhode Island is decided online.
Rhode Island cities with their own contest
Every Rhode Island candidate names her city at entry. Women from Providence, Warwick, Cranston, Pawtucket or Newport each get their own city stage, and those from smaller towns choose Other city in Rhode Island and still compete in a city stage before the state stage.
